what i love about this room: the white walls, wooden floors, and big east-facing windows make it a cheery, warm space.

our color palette is probably partly a response to gray northwestern skies. our warm reds and yellows make for a lovely contrast to this gray, drizzly time of year.
Oh, I love it, Meg!! So very elegant. It's inspiring. But I'm afraid we're more busy than elegant. Sigh.

ReplyDeletei love the credenza..i have something of similar size {no hidden stereo} waiting in my garage to be painted bright red. can't wait {for the funds} to start my living room transformation to a gray/red/black/white palette.
